Task Description
The purpose of this essay is to demonstrate your attainment of the ACORN Competencies (2014), using reflective practice. Create a reflective essay using the Gibbs Reflective Model (1988) to critically analyse a challenging situation in the workplace which was significant to your practice. Only ACORN Competencies 1-9 are to be considered for the purposes of the essay. Explore how this situation has increased your understanding of your practice, challenged your assumptions, and how your future practice will change in relation to the knowledge, behaviours, and attitudes required in perioperative nursing.
